LayerxLayer Aprons

1217-layerxlayer

We’re not usually fans of working aprons, here at Boilermaker. I mean, you try looking sharp with a piece of cheap fabric wrapped around yourself like a suburban grandmother…

And yet, satisfying the continuing cultural penchant for artisanal craftsmanship, these numbers from LayerxLayer have a charmingly handmade sort of sartorial utilitarianism that’s hard to ignore.

Sure they’re not technically designed for bar-use. But we can’t help think they’d fit in with any savvy barkeep looking to protect their sharp shirt-and-cuffs (or Aloha-shirt/LBD/etc.) when behind the stick. And as a bonus: they’re not one of those ugly, branded, black cloth things.
