Sort of how we’d imagine those iconic Wallpaper* illustrations would have looked in the 1930s, Lillet’s new brand campaign by the French designer, Matthieu Forichon, are definitely a step in the modern direction for this delightful French apéritif seeking so firmly for its next wind.
On the subject, sort of, we hear on the old booze rumour mill that Lillet’s recent Twisted Vesper competition held recently in London is going global. And given that the inaugural comp drew the likes of Alessandro Palazzi (Duke’s Bar), Paul Mant (Quo Vadis), Malcolm Evans (Mojo) and the winner, Alex Kratena (Artesian), to get so hysterically creative, we for one can’t wait to see what happens when the rest of the world gets on board…
So either way: good job, Lillet chaps. We’re surprisingly impressed.
